“Electronic GERMAN ID CARD 4SALE for Applicants Over 16 Years of Age The electronic German ID card, issued by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, is available to applicants over the age of 16. To apply for this card, you must schedule an appointment online and visit the Embassy or Consulate General responsible for your home state during their opening hours. The actual card will be printed at the Federal Printing Office in Berlin with a processing time of approximately 4-6 weeks. Please note that if a Name Declaration is required, this may significantly increase processing time. For applicants under 24 years of age, the ID card is valid for 6 years. For those over 24 years old, it is valid for 10 years. Minors aged 16 and above can apply for the German ID card without parental or guardian approval.”
