If you are married and wish to have your married name on your photo ID card, please bring along your marriage certificate as well. Our ID cards are valid for five years and require a fee of $25. Airlines in Canada now require passengers to present a photo ID when traveling. Note that two pieces of identification from the primary list can be accepted, but we cannot accept two pieces from the secondary list. If you are married and wish to have your married name on your photo ID card, please also provide your marriage certificate. The ID card is valid for a period of 5 years at a fee of $25.
